DreamZone Still Taking Entries for 'Romeo and Juliet' Display Contest

VAN NUYS, Calif.–DreamZone Entertainment continues to field entries for its Romeo and Juliet in-store, display contest.  In December, the celebrated parody studio began offering retail shop owners the unique opportunity to compete for a chance to win $1,000 in DVDs. The contest will run until February 21, 2012.   For those who’ve yet to participate, the rules are as follows: construct a romance-themed display centered on DreamZone’s Romeo and Juliet, take photos of your creation, and send them to Adam Hasner, VP of DreamZone.   For their Romeo and Juliet showcase, contestants can order advanced copies of the movie and are free to use any of the film’s current promo materials, including the newly available movie poster. Judgment of the entries will be based upon creativity and effective merchandising.  The winner will be announced on February 28, 2012.   “We’ve received some wonderful display photos for the contest already, but it’s still anyone’s game right now,” stated Hasner. “We encourage any retailers who haven’t submitted their entries to get them in as soon as possible. I’d hate to have store owners miss out on this perfect opportunity to drive sales for Valentine’s Day. This is the time of year, men and women are searching for couples oriented, romantic items. An eye-catching, Romeo & Juliet display will draw interest from those seasonal customers.  Additionally, the more creativity utilized in its construction not only increases a participant’s chances of winning, but helps tremendously in generating buzz for the film, especially around the holiday. I look forward to seeing all the future entries and announcing our big winner. Good luck to all!”  DreamZone Entertainment proudly presents a sensual reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic tale of star-crossed love, Romeo and Juliet. This modern-day adaptation appropriately positions hardcore eroticism while remaining true to the original vision. The film’s transition between Shakespearean poetics and current vernacular provides contemporary audiences with a more palatable rendition.  Set in present time, the story commences with Romeo (Rocco Reed), heart-broken over the loss of his former girlfriend, Rosalyn (Andy San Dimas). Through the consolation of his loyal friend Benvolio, Romeo discovers comfort in the arms of the equally woeful Juliet (Chanel Preston). Despite the unending feud that rages between their families, the two lovers forbid the ensuing turmoil to obstruct their union.  When the strife spirals out of control, Romeo and Juliet are left with dire consequences and life-altering decisions to make. Following the impassioned duo through this chaos are India Summer (Lady Capulet), Anthony Rosano (Tybalt), Ann Marie Rios (Polly), Brian Street Team (Benvolio), and AVN Hall of Famer, Tom Byron (Capulet patriarch).
