Erica McLean's 'The Flying Pink Pig' Receives Three AVN Nominations

LOS ANGELES — Sales of director Erica McLean's The Flying Pink Pig from Cheeky Monkey/Cal Vista are flying high and spirits are soaring over the news that the franchise received three 2012 AVN Award nominations.The first chapter in the gourmet food truck caper is up for Best Comedy and both it and its sequel The Flying Pink Pig 2 have been nominated for Best Overall Marketing Campaign — Individual Project. The Flying Pink Pig's theme song "Thinkin' 'Bout You" is also up for Best Original Song."I'm so proud of the nominations. We put a lot of work into making these movies and hope people will continue to enjoy them," said McLean.The first release courted controversy and made national headlines over a dispute with the owner of the actual food truck used in the video, who claimed he was unaware of the its adult content.McLean’s sequel, The Flying Pink Pig 2, hit the streets in August and the third chapter will be released soon.The latest chapter in the food truck caper is much more colorful, has more sex scenes with greater intensity and adds Alexis Texas to the roster with co-stars Sunny Lane, Nicki Hunter, Cytherea, Mika Kim, Breanna Sparks, and Tessa Taylor.  Ron Jeremy reprises his role as the villainous rival threatening to take down the food truck once and for all with a naughty sex tape, and Lee Bang, Dale Dabone, TJ Cummings, and Tyler Knight show up to sample the truck’s tasty goods."I'm proud of it. We had such a great cast. The production was essentially a lot of fun sprinkled with hardcore sex.
