Darklady Summons Her Voodoo Tiki Lounge Polyween Tonight

PORTLAND, OR – What once was a Halloween house party for the Portland-area polyamory community has grown into an annual autumn celebration of sexual and romantic diversity. Tonight, guests of Darklady’s Polyween party will have 10,000 square feet of space for meeting and greeting during the return of her “Voodoo Tiki Lounge,” this time to Angel’s, once of the largest alternative lifestyle clubs on the west coast.   Darklady knows that Halloween can be a difficult time for adults to slip away from family or friends and indulge in a bit of just-for-grown-ups holiday themed fun, which is why Friday, November 4, 2011 was selected for this year’s soiree. Two floors of diverse delights, multiple hot tubs, a dungeon space, bar, buffet and labyrinthine private rooms are why Angel’s was selected. “I’m a horror fan, a tiki fan, a lounge fan, a Halloween fan and a big fan of producing erotic and fun pansexual parties, so combining all of those elements for Polyween makes perfect sense to me,” Darklady explains. “Angel’s has an eclectic and expansive space for us to occupy, so my Darklings and I are looking forward to converting it into our latest manifestation of my fantasy Voodoo Tiki Lounge.” Costumes are encouraged — and will be rewarded with a free raffle ticket — but the goal is a fun and erotic atmosphere, coupled with a heartfelt appreciation of human diversity, so fetish, lounge, and beach attire will be equally appreciated. Darklady knows that times are hard, so in addition to special prices, work-scholarships are available. Food, hygiene and pet supply donations for HIV/AIDS assistance program Esther’s Pantry will earn copious thanks, including a free raffle ticket toward a chance at winning an assortment of prizes, including a 90-minute floatation tank experience at Float On, a limited-edition box set featuring a Wicked Pictures’ Rocki Whore Picture Show DVD and promotional swag, and a Sportsheets’ Chained & Tamed Kit from Fantasy for Adults Only, among others. During the evening, guests will be serenaded by tiki tunes and enticed by holiday-inspired adult videos, as well as original art displayed by L. Alan Erotic Arts Gallery and even more original art created on the bodies of guests by body painter Lexxx FX and the return of posed photos for those who want a memory to take home. In addition to multiple private and public rooms for naked or skimpily clad frolicking, The Naughty Barber (and Barberette) will be available for trimming naughty bits, while a Monkey Rocker and three Sybians will be available for wild rides sure to raise the grateful dead. Debuting during this year’s Polyween is the Grope-a-Clown Box, created by local artists. It will cost female-identified guests $10 and male-identified guests $25 to get their Voodoo Tiki on, while triads/trios can do so for $40. Doors open at 8:00 pm and once inside, a buffet and tiki bar will be available for satisfying non-flesh-against-flesh appetites. Angel’s is located at 3533 SE Cesar Chavez/39th Avenue in Portland, OR. Its main floor is entirely accessible – and no Angel’s membership is required for the evening, although Darklady and her Beloved Darklings certainly hope that guests will be inspired to support the establishment by joining.
