Doc Johnson Names New Director of Marketing, PR

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Doc Johnson Enterprises, a leading designer and manufacturer of novelties and sex toys, has created an in-house marketing department and has named Victoria Bowman-Steinour director of marketing and public relations. Bowman-Steinour joins the Doc Johnson team after four years in the adult industry and a decade prior in marketing, development, and community outreach in the mainstream market. Prior to moving marketing and public relations in-house, Doc Johnson was a former longtime client of the Fifteen Minutes agency. Doc Johnson Director of Product Development and Licensing Chad Braverman said, “We’ve had a very successful partnership with Fifteen Minutes over the last few years and have greatly enjoyed working with the agency. As we focus more on strengthening our internal resources, creating an in-house marketing team was a natural progression for us. We are excited to have Victoria on board to lead this new department. We’re making great strides to increase the company’s drive and efficiency.” Victoria Bowman-Steinour has extensive hands-on experience, formerly as the marketing director at EdenFantasys, where she spent three years growing the brand visibility, consumer interaction, and hiring a sizable outreach staff. She specializes in targeted marketing, consumer outreach, and brand cohesion. Bowman-Steinour will be focusing on building consumer brand awareness and developing long-term marketing initiatives for Doc Johnson. As with marketing, Doc Johnson is also building a dedicated art department which currently hosts eight full-time creative services staff members and is expected to continue growing in the coming months. Marking their 35th anniversary in just two weeks, Doc Johnson is poised to make this a banner year in their long history of innovation and excellence.
