Lace Up Your Gloves with Digital Playground's 'Fighters'

VAN NUYS, Calif.—The gloves come off—literally—in the upcoming Digital Playground blockbuster Fighters. Conceived by Digital Playground founder and award-winning director Joone and written and directed by Robby D., Fighters streets Sept. 27.  Jesse Jane and Kayden Kross play two beautiful, passionate girls, from opposite walks of life that come together in a battle of lust and unyielding wills to fight it out in a stealthy boxing match. Riley Steele plays Jane's streetwise naughty sister and Stoya is Kross' equally privileged best friend. And BiBi Jones stars as the new girl in town who sleeps with Jane's dad creating even more fighting. The intense physical sparring both in and out of the ring leads to some fierce sexual encounters. Jane and Kross both underwent months of rigorous training in boxing and fight choreography for their roles. Jane said Fighters was the hardest movie she's ever done. "I had to train in boxing for three months before we started shooting and gained some serious muscle weight. It took a lot of hard work and commitment, but it was worth it. I think this is the best I've ever done in a movie, and I can't wait to see it!"  Kross echoed Jane’s sentiments. "I've never actually immersed myself in a role so deeply. Jesse and I had to undergo a physical and mental transformation for our characters to be authentic and I hope the fans like what they see!" Joone believes Jane gives her best performance of all-time in the movie. "When creating a film on the scale of Fighters, I knew it would be important for the girls to be convincing as boxers,” he said. "Fighters really portrays a side of Jesse Jane and Kayden Kross that audiences have never seen before and is without a doubt the best performance of Jesse's career."
