Performer ‘Ramon’ Arrested for Animal Cruelty

MIAMI—Bang Bus favorite and hung cocksman "Ramon" was arrested in Miami Monday along with another man on charges of animal cruelty after police were called to a parked van that passersby thought contained a crying child. Instead of a child, however, police discovered 21 animals in distress from the heat. Eight roosters, four guinea hens, four pigeons, four goats and one duck were inside a van. According to the police report, the four goats were “tied up inside plastic bags,” and one of them was dead. Approximately 45 minutes after police arrived on the scene, a parking lot at Northwest 37th Avenue and 7th Street, the two men arrived, said they owned the animals and were immediately placed under arrest. “Police charged 'Ramon,' 46, and his partner with 22 counts of animal cruelty,” reported CBS Miami. “All the animals in the van appeared to be in distress and lacking of water,” the police report stated. The two men were booked into Miami-Dade County Jail on $110,000 bond each. Animal control took possession of the animals.
