January Robbins Joins AVN as Sales Account Manager

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—AVN Media Network is pleased to welcome January Robbins as an account manager in the sales department. Robbins, who has been involved for almost a decade with the adult industry’s biggest single trade event, the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, brings with her a deep knowledge of the full spectrum of the adult industry. Robbins, who grew up in Orange County, Calif., most recently had been employed for nine years with Home Entertainment Events, the company responsible for producing and marketing the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. She gained experience on both the event management and sales teams in charge of pulling off the adult mega-event, and is familiar with all the challenges involved in producing both B2B and consumer events. In addition to her work on AEE, Robbins has also served in key roles on other projects and shows, including the East Coast Video Show, the VSDA Home Entertainment Show, the Digital Asset Management Conference, the RED Camera Educational Conferences, and the AVN’s own annual awards show, held during AEE. This varied background has allowed Robbins to build relationships throughout the entire adult marketplace, from DVD producers to novelty manufacturers to online industry leaders. Consistent with AVN’s goal of meeting the full-service needs of adult entertainment companies, Robbins will assist her clients across the entire spectrum of AVN Media Network platforms, including print, internet, mobile, B2B and B2C live events and the AVN Awards. “We are extremely excited to have January as part of our sales team,” said AVN Director of Sales Sara Harter. “She is an incredible asset because she has been within our industry for years and is very familiar with many of the companies already, as well as AVN’s largest events.
