Kevin Smith’s SMODcastle at Jon Lovitz Podcast Theater May 20-30

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif.—Filmmaker, S.I.R. host and podcast extraordinaire Kevin Smith will cut the ribbon on SModcastle at the newly renamed Jon Lovitz Podcast Theater with a 24 hour live pod-a-thon event, Poddammit. The Memorial Day Weekend event will begin at Noon on Sunday, May 29 and end at noon on Monday, May 30, and is limited to 250 attendees. Poddammit, an endurance marathon for podcasters hosted by Kevin Smith, will feature 10 live podcasts with special guest appearances, including numerous SModcast.com fan favorite shows. The Poddammit bill includes: -  ABC’s of SNL with Jon Lovitz and Kevin Smith. Tales of the great late night sketch show from behind the comedy curtain. This is the premiere episode of the new SModcast.com weekly podcast. -  Let Us Act: The Jay and Silent Bob Get Old Aftershow. The premiere episode of the interactive podcast during which audience members and Jay re-create classic scenes from everyone’s favorite flicks. - Having Sex with Katie Morgan. Not heard or seen since the original SModcastle’s Prima Nocta, Katie Morgan returns to once again regale Kevin Smith with stories from another adult world… (AVN covered a previous "Having Sex, with Katie Morgan" SModcastle event.) - Hollywood Babble-On with Ralph Garman and Kevin Smith, an iTunes #1 podcast - Jay and Silent Bob Get Old with Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, an iTunes Best Podcast 2010 - Plus One with Jennifer Schwalbach and Kevin Smith. The Universal Hilton at Universal City Walk is providing out-of-town attendees a special rate of $149 for Memorial Day Weekend with the code “Poddammit.” Fans not able to join the Podammit live will be able to listen to all the antics via live streaming on S.I.R. at www.smodcast.com.  S.I.R., an internet radio station founded by Kevin Smith launched Monday, May 9 with 4 hours of original programming Monday - Friday and continuous streaming of podcasts from the SModcast Network.
