HOLLYWOOD, Calif. The multifaceted adult cast of April Flores (Voluptuous Biker Babes), Nina Hartley (Boogie Nights), Syd Blakovich (queer icon/mixed martial arts fighter), Sunny Lane (The Bunny Ranch), Kimberly Kane (AVN Best Actress award winner), Nicki Hunter (Playboy Radio), Ashley Blue (AVN Award winner) and Kelly Shibari (BBW Star and founder of PaddedKINK) star in Carlos Battss new vision, Sugar Sisters.
The feature film presents popular adult stars like youve never seen them before as ultra-violent, weapon-toting problem-solvers who dont take shit from any dicks out there doing their friends wrong. Batts described Sugar Sisters is an over-the-top revenge film, where women run the world of underground street justice. The Sugar Sisters is an agency run by fearless women who use their sex appeal and street smarts to help assist people who are having problems with almost any life area: money, relationships, bills, etc. The Sisters solve problems by any means necessary. Mai Tai, played by Flores, struggles to investigate the kidnapping of her best friend Shirley Temple (Kane) by Bloody Mary (Hunter), who was rejected by agency owner/operator Martini (Hartley). Mai Tai only has very limited time to find Shirley before Mary kills her, so she enlists the help of her crew, Hot Totty (Lane), Mimosa (Blue) and Cosmo (Blakovich). The crew, of course, runs into violent encounters throughout the film. Mai Tais relationship with the Sisters and Bloody Mary are deeper than expected, and she deals with unexpected obstacles in her search for the truth. Award-winning director and artist Batts brings his original story to life with screenplay writer Darryl Wharton and story writing collaborator Nathan Carlisle. Batts said his goal was to create a film that could utilize the personalities of the cast to push the limits of cinema. The film blurs the line between action, horror and cult flick with a narrative that doesnt use sex as selling point. The film also features an original score composed by electronica, hip-hop and hardcore musicians. Illustrations were created by Nima Sorat. The film, produced by C. Batts FLY, is in production for a 2011 release. A trailer is available online.
