LOS ANGELES The ASACP Foundation is pleased to announce that it can now accept car donations through the Cars 4 Causes® program.
Cars 4 Causes originated from a desire to help fund youth education. Along the road to achieving that one charitable goal, the organization discovered a wide and wonderful community of charities and the people who make them possible. The C4C program is unique in that it allows donors to participate in directing a portion of the funds to benefit any qualifying non-profit organization. When a donor chooses a charity, 70 percent of the net sale amount will go to the charity of choice, and the rest will go to Cars 4 Causes' charity supported programs. A number of people asked us if they could donate cars and use it as a charitable, tax-deductible gift. After much research, the ASACP Foundation decided that Cars 4 Causes was a good fit since both charities help children. We are honored to have been accepted into their program, said ASACP Chief Executive Officer Joan Irvine. The ASACP Foundation operates the ASACP child pornography reporting hotline and the link on ASACP's website or at Cars4Causes.net.
