CHATSWORTH, CA – September 22, 2009 – Paranoid sky-watchers, conspiracy theorists and philes (as the enthusiasts are known) rejoice today as X-Files returns to screens once again—this time in a triple X-rated title “The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody.” The trailer, making its debut on-line, comes from Revolution X and will be distributed by Digital Sin, whose sister company, New Sensations, is the mastermind behind the sexy spoofs of The Office, Scrubs, Seinfeld, Friends and 30 Rock.
In true X-Files tradition, a virtual lid of secrecy has surrounded the production and its storyline kept under wraps, known only to top studio executives and the projects principal actors and filmmakers. The 1 min 16 second trailer gives viewers a preview of the dramatic action and suspenseful plot the parody delivers as well as a first glimpse at Scully look-a-like Kimberly Kane in action.
“One of the many impressive aspects of this movie is we shot it entirely on The Red One Camera,” explains Digital Sin President Scott Taylor. “This is not only the first parody to be shot on the Red but also the first movie of this caliber in our industry that utilizes this groundbreaking technology. Digital Sin and Revolution X had extraordinarily high standards for production of this film and sought out the Red One specifically because it is the best available camera on the market. Using a sensor measured at 4520 x 2540, which is more than 4 times the pixels of the best HD cameras, the camera delivers the clearest picture available.

Critics and fans are calling the movie magnificent and praising it for outstanding attention to detail. Porn journalist, Gram Ponante of Gramponante.com, wrote, “Not since ‘Revenge of the Nerds’ have geeks been so richly rewarded as with ‘The Sex Files.’ It is the perfect fan fiction vehicle; a porn movie that could have been an episode of the original.”
Leading “nerd” site Toplessrobot.com wrote, “Wow, just Wow. My mind is blown, how can a porn take off of The X-files look better than anything Chris Carter has done with the show since the seventh or eighth season. This really excites me; it feels like I can believe again.”
