Mary Carey, the former California gubernatorial candidate and critically acclaimed star of several celebrity reality television shows is making her long-awaited return to the adult film business in the highly controversial, pop-culture spoof “Celebrity Pornhab with Dr. Screw.” The DVD will be released worldwide through Red Light District on Tuesday, June 2. Red Light District was also the company behind the now legendary “1 Night in Paris.”
“Celebrity Pornhab with Dr. Screw” is a parody of the top-rated reality television show about celebrities and addiction, and pushes the terms “reality TV” and “spoof” to entirely different levels. This is sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll like you’ve never seen…it’s outrageous!
“We were shocked to learn that Mary Carey was interested in getting back into the adult film business after a three-year hiatus and vowing never to make another x-rated film again,” said director Maestro Claudio. “We were so excited at this opportunity, we decided to push the envelope and make a highly controversial, shocking film - but one that audiences are going to love for the extreme comedic elements. We can guarantee that even the most die-hard porn fan hasn’t seen THIS before.”
Carey initially rose to fame as one of the top stars in the adult film industry, but gained international recognition when she ran for Governor of California against Arnold Schwarzenegger. Carey recently signed a deal to develop her own TV series with Go Go Luckey Productions, the reality team behind Laguna Beach and Paranormal State. Her long-awaited autobiography is scheduled to be in stores in summer 2010.
