FSC MEMBERS DONATE TO SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER AT ADULTCON

This weekend, attendees of the 16th Adultcon (http://www.adultcon.com/indexa.html</a>) adult consumer show will have a chance to bid on items in a silent auction being held to benefit the Free Speech Coalition (FSC). Several FSC member businesses made generous donations of product to be auctioned alongside highly collectable merchandise from auction service company BangTheGavel.com (http://www.bangthegavel.com/</a>). Some items also will be offered for sale.

“Adultcon and Renaud West really went all out to offer FSC floor space to hold the auction,” FSC Membership Director Joanne Cachapero said. “It’s wonderful because it gives the fans a special opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind collectables, and several FSC member businesses get to show off some great products while contributing to a worthy cause.

“Especially in this economy, it’s been hard as a nonprofit, as well as on the industry and the fans,” Cachapero added. “We have some great items starting at very reasonable bids, so there’s something for everyone. And we would like to thank all the contributors for their incredible generosity. And also our FSC staffers that worked really hard to pull this fundraiser together.”

Novelty manufacturer Topco Sales (http://topcosales.us/product_list.asp?LID=0&BrandID=8</a>) donated a feminine gift basket including toys from their Grrl Toyz line.

Online retailer Stockroom.com (http://www.stockroom.com/</a>) also contributed several items from their KinkLab line of fetish gear, which fill another kinky-themed basket.

Video producers X-Play donated an entire set of their popular “Not XXX” parody series (http://www.sitcums.com/</a>) DVDs, including “Britney Rears;” “Not the Bradys XXX;” “Not Bewitched XXX;” “Not the Bradys XXX: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia;” and their latest “Not Three’s Company XXX.”

“This is a complete autographed set of the most popular parody line ever,” said X-Play director Will Ryder, “We’re talking about hours and hours of the most fun you can have, with hot sex, sexy girls, great acting and all-star casts in every one. We can’t keep them on the store shelves and some lucky fan is going to go home with the entire set of DVDs.

“We’re happy to be able to help FSC raise some money, as well,” Ryder added.

Adult retailer Adam and Eve (http://www.adameve.com/</a>) contributed a multiple DVD set of feature movies starring fan favorite contract stars Kayden Kross and Bree Olson.

Production company Wicked Pictures (http://wickedpictures.com/</a>) donated a prize package feature products from their recent blockbuster release “The Fallen,” including a deluxe DVD edition and promotional poster autographed by director Brad Armstrong and contract star Jessica Drake.

Also, there is a Wicked Promo Pack up for bid that includes deluxe Blu-ray editions of recent Wicked features and a poster autographed by Stormy Daniels, Kaylani Lei and Mikayla Mendez, as well as the Contract Star Promo Pack, featuring six DVDs, on for each of Wicked’s contract stars; Stormy Daniels, Jessica Drake, Kristen Price, Kaylani Lei, Alektra Blue, and Mikayla Mendez.

Adult producer/director Vince Vouyer generously donated a full set of his award-winning DVDs, including a copy of Souled Out 3 signed by its stars Mackenzee Pierce and Stevie Hart; each DVD in the set also is autographed by Vouyer.

Finally, BurningAngel.com (http://www.burningangel.com/</a>) director/founder Joanna Angel contributed to the FSC auction with assorted DVDs and promotional swag from her selection of wildly popular Burning Angel merchandise.

Bang the Gavel will display an assortment of collector quality items, including fashion apparel, as well as sports and movie memorabilia including a Pam Anderson autographed photo collage.

Adultcon opens its doors at 4pm today and runs through March 22, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The Free Speech Coalition is the national trade organization to the adult entertainment industry. Its mission is to lead, protect and support the growth and well-being of the adult entertainment community.
