SugarDVD and SugarVOD continue to grow to their collection of mainstream movies for video on demand. They have just signed a deal to start offering concert and rock legend documentaries including artists such as Bob Dylan, The Pixies, and Iggy & The Stooges.
Justin Brand, Sugar's content manager, said "We couldn't be more enthused about our new partnership with MVD. Beyond some great classic mainstream movies, they have an awe-inspiring collection of concerts and documentaries ranging from Bob Dylan and Devo to Bad Brains and Method Man."
Several new adult studios have also been signed up recently for video on demand including Private, Shooting Star, Sticky Video, Black Magic, Kimberly West, fetish studio Bondage Barrix, Amateur Bound, China Bondage, C Woody, Dan Hawke, Dungeon VIP, Red Hot Video, WorldWideFlicks, Lepreporn, Smegma Studios, Buddha Bang, G 14 Media, and JPS.
Sugar has been working on adding new VOD player options as well. It is currently making the final touches on its new custom Silverlight player due to be released this summer. This new player will allow customers to bookmark and tag scenes they like. It will work on both PC and Mac.
