Show host welcomes adult industry actors, filmmakers and executives.
Sheldon Baker has launched Baker: In the City, a one hour talk and interview show on Fresno’s CentralValleyTalk.com. The show airs live every Tuesday from 11 a.m. - Noon and repeats online Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. Central Valley Talk also airs weekly on Channel 33 and Digital Channel 43.3 in Fresno, CA. Baker will serve as host and producer.
Baker, a former Chicago area broadcaster with over 30 years of marketing and broadcasting experience, interviews notables and celebrities from the San Joaquin Valley and beyond.
Scheduled upcoming guests include Janice Noga, former Broadway theater actress and star of the current traveling stage show Janka, Dr. Mark Whitacre, author and chief operating officer for Cypress Systems, Jennifer Alcorn, professional boxer, personal trainer and actress, Pam Scarano, owner of Bodywise and celebrity masseuse, and Dwayne Crump, former National Football League player and owner of Crump’s men’s fashions.
“The Internet has opened a new avenue of national and international media and marketing opportunities,” says Baker, who has received emails about the show from several parts of the U.S. and Australia.
According to Baker, his goal is to attract celebrities and notables passing though the Valley to stop for an interview.
“Local events, casinos, sports teams and political scene offer a wide range of special guests,” says Baker from the show’s Fresno Tower District studio. “And I invite adult industry members to consider the show.”
Baker: In the City is also looking for giveaway items that can be offered viewers who email or call-in. On-air calls will become part of the show in late April.
“The idea of an online talk show had always intrigued me, so when Mike Briggs, Fresno politico and owner of Mike Briggs Properties stepped up to the plate and started CentralValleyTalk.com I wanted to be part of the programming” says Baker, who has worked with a number of Hollywood and sports celebrities.
