The 2009 XBIZ Awards resulted in Digital Playground receiving three prestigious awards in the ten eligible categories—the most of any studio. Digital Playground garnered Studio of the Year honors for the third time. Joone's blockbuster epic “Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge” was announced as the Feature Movie of the Year.
