Packed Screening and Q&A Heralded as “Best Event of the Year!”
On January 3, Digital Playground’s blockbuster adult movie “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge” screened on the campus of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) to a packed house of over 1000 exhilarated university students. The film and its attending stars drew a loud ovation when the lights came on. The proceeding Q&A session included acclaimed writer / director Joone, adult actors Evan Stone and Sasha Grey, and Digital Playground Director of Marketing and Public Relations Adella. During the impromptu autograph / photo session with film stars Sasha and Evan, many students were rewarded with free DVD and Blu-ray™ copies of “Pirates II”, plus shirts and posters. Joanne Lin, UCLA’s Campus Events Speaker Director, exclaims, “I’m really glad that UCLA had the opportunity to do this event. It turned out even better than we expected and the students had a great time interacting with the panel.” According to Alex Jeffries, UCLA’s Campus Events Film Director, the screening and discussion were by far the most successful events of the year.

Throughout the screening, students collectively cheered the comedic scenes and the intense sex. “I was really looking forward to seeing the reaction of a crowd without ties to the adult industry,” says Joone, Digital Playground’s Founder. “The audience’s interactivity with the movie was impressive and on point.” In September, Digital Playground premiered “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge” to a capacity filled Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
UCLA is the first of many top universities around the country set to screen the hit movie as part of the “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge” World Tour. The “Pirates” cult-phenomenon dates back to the successful screenings of the original film on the campuses of Carnegie-Mellon, Yale, Tulane, and dozens more in 2006.
“Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge” stars Digital Playground’s beautiful contract girls Jesse Jane®, Shay Jordan™, Katsuni, Stoya™, Riley Steele™ and Gabriella Fox™. The film costars the talents of BellaDonna, Sasha Grey, Jenna Haze, Brianna Love, Abbey Brooks, Shawna Lenee, Rhylee Richards, Brea Lynn, Shyla Stylez, and Veronica Rayne. Evan Stone, Tommy Gunn, and Steven St. Croix reprise their groundbreaking roles from the original “Pirates”. The film also includes industry studs Manuel Ferrara, James Deen, Marco Banderas, Mick Blue, Ben English, and Charles Dera.
All hands are on deck for the epic, blockbuster “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge”, directed by award-winner Joone, and produced by Joone and his business partner Samantha Lewis. The film released on DVD on September 27 and Blu-ray on November 7.
