A selection deemed the year's best from CineKink, "the really alternative film festival," works in this traveling showcase run the gamut from documentary to drama, camp comedy to hot porn, mildy spicy to quite explicit - and everything in between. Among the offerings, the animated TEAT BEAT OF SEX (Signe Baumane, 2007, 4 minutes) presents three short lectures on sex. OFFICE MOBIUS (Seung Hyung Lee & Seungil Hwang, 2007, 5 minutes) traces a tawdry office flirtation. In SALT (Campbell Farquhar, 2006, 3 minutes), three people share a passion for food - and other things. COMING OUT SPANKO (Tanya Bezreh, 2007, 15 minutes) is one woman's autobiographical coming to terms with her kink identity, while CROSSING (H.P. Comings, 2007, 19 minutes) looks at what it takes to move between the realms of kink and "normality." In SOMETHING ABOUT NADIA (Erika Lust, 2007, 21 minutes), three women recount the uncontrollable desire they feel for the mysterious Nadia. And in WHO'S THE TOP? (Jennie Livingston, 2005, 22 minutes), a fantastical S/M musical comedy, one writer finds her true self by determining who's the bottom. Admission is $8 at the door; $7/students, $6/seniors, $5/members; 18 and over only.
