Full-House Screening Followed by Q&A Panel With Joone, Samantha Lewis, Sasha Grey & Evan Stone
Digital Playground’s blockbuster adult movie “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge” will screen Wednesday at 8:00pm in the Ackerman Ballroom on the campus of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with acclaimed writer / director Joone, producer and Digital Playground CEO Samantha Lewis, and adult actors Evan Stone and Sasha Grey. All those attending the screening of “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge”, must be 18 or older and present a valid UCLA ID at the door. Alex Jefferies, UCLA’s Campus Events Film Director, says, “We will have a packed house of over 1000 people. The online sign-up is already completely filled up and I expect a huge line at the door for stand-by seating. This is going to be a great event!”

Fourth-year psychology student, Penson Liu to the UCLA Daily Bruin, “We wanted to spark this dialogue of how the adult film industry, mainstream media, and regular films are becoming so [similar]…There’s a blurring of that line.” Joone and Samantha Lewis produced “Pirates” and “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge” with the intention of breaking down the popular notions of what adult movies are capable of. The film premiered at the heralded Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles and released on DVD on September 27 and Blu-ray on November 7.
